Dr. Sunghee Ahn is a highly skilled and experienced endodontist, respected by her peers and loved by her patients. She sets even the most nervous individual at ease with her gentle touch and kind manner, to reassure them their root canal will be free of pain.
With each patient, Dr. Ahn takes time first to create a connection founded on respect for the person’s clinical and emotional needs. Then, by clearly explaining the diagnosis, reviewing the procedure using understandable terminology, and thoroughly answering questions and concerns, she helps her patients relax.
During the root canal, Dr. Ahn maintains this attentive approach, utterly focused on the individual’s comfort and safety, as well as their endodontic needs. After the procedure is complete, Dr. Ahn provides post-op instructions and makes sure her patient is pleased with the service they have received.
Education, Professional Affiliations, and Ongoing Studies
Dr. Ahn attended Nova Southeastern University School of Dentistry, where she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. She furthered her education with a rigorous postgraduate program in the endodontic specialty through New York University. She has practiced endodontics for many years.

Dr. Ahn completes numerous hours of continuing education each year in her specialty through these professional organizations. By staying current with the latest research and technological innovations and constantly honing her skills, she ensures each patient receives the high-quality care the person deserves.
Dr. Ahn is especially pleased to incorporate state-of-the-art technologies into her practice. She utilizes surgical, dental microscopes, cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), and a specialized laser. As a result, she provides the most advanced, safe, and comfortable endodontic procedures possible.
Beyond the Practice
A native of Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Ahn has resided in West Palm Beach for more than a dozen years. She values time with her family, especially her teenage son, who wants to follow in his parents’ footsteps, and enjoys golf and traveling.
Dr. Ahn also enjoys activities through her membership in the Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach. She shares the organization’s goal of inspiring the community to learn about and preserve the historical, architectural, and cultural heritage of Palm Beach.
